Now before anyone says anything......
Yes I know...its been 7 months and 13 days since my last blog entry...is it? I've lost count. Well, I'm back, and hopefully you are going to see more regular posts from me. During the last 7 months, I have gone through quite a bit of thinking, have been working real hard (yes, even on weekends) and flying between my two homes.
As a result of my laziness crippling my inspiration to write, I've never really thought about reviving this blog. Its been so long and I know I would have driven away my last remaining readers anyway with my infrequent (read : non-existent) posts. Then something strange happened last night. You know how when you type in a certain website address and the drop down list comes up with loads of websites which you had previously visited? I rarely look at the screen as I type, but somehow, last night, I typed in www.g and then I glanced at the screen. I'm sure you can guess what came up on the screen...
I thought, well, since I haven't looked at it for so long, it might be worth a re-visit, just to have a laugh. I ended up reading through my 100 over posts accumulated over 4 years and spent over an hour just navigating through my own blog! And my banner has even reappeared (it disappeared towards the end of last year as I did not rnew my account with them). See how much I love myself?
But seriously, I must say I'm glad I started this blog. Its like a little public treasure trove of information that I can experience over and over again...in fact, I was so inspired that I decided to start writing again, well hopefully at least an entry once every 2 weeks?
I also sent this site to one of my colleagues to read last night...and she ended up reading it on her phone when she was outside and couldn't stop!She loved it! So I thought since so many people (yes, all five of you) really enjoy reading my blog, why not do something to bring joy to others while satisfying my inner ego to be praised and loved by everyone. I did consider switching over to Twitter but it is such a lazy blogging tool, no structure, no content planning, haphazard entries which do not link properly etc..etc...I have no wish to waste my time on a site that does not truly recognize my vast talent.
So there you have it, my first come back blog entry....
So where's the welcome party?
