3rd page of Daily Telegraph today headlining "Global Blow for Aussies", describing how the Aussies lost out in the race for Golden Globes.
I assume this is the beginning of a backlash against Aussies doing so well in Hollywood. Maybe its all a conspiracy by Hollywood moguls to let Aussies be nominated but not win any awards. That'll keep them coming back for more.
Doesn't help when there is an ongoing campaign for Australian tourism in USA right at this moment. There is only so much didgeridoos, boomerangs and kangaroos one can take before your mind overloads and goes crazy.......
I was surprised the media didn't make a big deal out of Sascha Baron Cohen winning Best Male Lead. He is afterall going out with Isla Fisher, and that is the closest we got to winning that night.....
Yawn.......
